In Mid June I celebrated my 64th birthday. As I looked through my dive log, I realized there were more blank pages in it that I expected to see in 2005 when I retired from the commercial world and opened Langley Diving.
With so many dives to do, so little time to do them and the lease on the shop up for renewal, I have concluded that now is the time to slow down a bit and se how retirement really feels. I want to enjoy my family and friends, continue to teach, dive and travel, but it is time to step away from my full time role with Langley Diving.
Unfortunately, efforts to sell Langley Diving have been unsuccessful. There, Langley Diving will be closing its doors for the last time on July 31, 2015.
We have run our final courses and have begun the task of selling off all our new and rental inventory as well as our furniture and fixtures.
Thank you for your loyal support and friendship over the past 10 years. I hope you will drop by before we close, if only to let me say thank you in person.
Thanks for the memories and safe diving.
